How Shutter8 handles your information.

1. What Shutter8 collects Account details (name, email, phone), booking and order details, payment metadata returned by Square (never your card number), uploaded files, gallery and selection activity, email/SMS notification records, legal acceptance records, and device/IP information where collected for security and legal-evidence purposes. 2. How it is used To provide and schedule services, process payments through Square, deliver galleries and files, send confirmations, reminders and receipts, maintain proof of terms acceptance, prevent abuse, and meet legal or accounting obligations. 3. Processors Square (payments), the email provider used for transactional email, and the SMS provider when SMS is enabled. Shutter8 does not sell your personal information. 4. Card data Card details are entered directly into Square's secure payment fields. Shutter8 never receives or stores raw card numbers. 5. Retention Client galleries follow the retention period displayed for each gallery (approximately twelve months unless stated otherwise). Booking, payment and legal acceptance records are retained as long as needed for business, accounting and legal purposes. 6. Your requests Contact Shutter8 to access or correct your account information, or to ask about deletion. Some records must be retained where the law or a legitimate business obligation requires it. 7. SMS / mobile messaging Customers may voluntarily opt in to receive transactional SMS (text) messages from Shutter8 Media. The SMS opt-in is separate, is never pre-checked, and SMS consent is not required as a condition of any purchase or booking. Messages may include booking confirmations, appointment reminders, scheduling changes, cancellation or rescheduling updates, payment or remaining-balance notifications, and other service-related updates about a customer's booking or order. Message frequency varies based on customer activity, bookings and orders. Message and data rates may apply, as set by the customer's mobile carrier. Customers can reply STOP at any time to opt out of further messages, and HELP for assistance. Opting out does not cancel an existing booking, order or account. Mobile phone numbers and SMS consent information are NOT sold, rented, or shared with third parties or affiliates for marketing or promotional purposes. Mobile numbers and message content may only be shared with the service providers Shutter8 uses to deliver the requested communications or to operate the service (for example the SMS gateway that transmits the message), and only as needed for that purpose, subject to applicable privacy protections and their own confidentiality obligations. Records of SMS consent, opt-outs and message delivery are retained as proof of consent and for support and legal purposes. ATTORNEY REVIEW RECOMMENDED before production launch.
